Is everything sold here made locally?
98% of items sold through Creators Nest are made in the Southern Tablelands of NSW.
We do sell on behalf of makers & designers outside of this region to fill gaps in our offering and to support fellow creative professionals who's work aligns with our ethos & values.
Do you stock a range of sizes?
Clothing made in house is made in limited numbers, floor stock is made in the size range of S/M.
Garments can be made to order in other sizes on a quote basis & preferably with measurements taken in store.
Are the fabrics you use produced in Australia too?
Fabrics used to create clothing made in house are bought through Australian suppliers, but not milled in Australia (at this stage).
The Linen's are mostly from Lithuania & Belgium, Merino Knits from NZ & remnant fabrics are often used to create very limited addition items.
What type of leather do you use?
Predominantly kangaroo leather, living in rural NSW seeing first hand the culling & dumping of kangaroos, I (Marie-Nicole) chose to work with kangaroo leather to bring focus in our region to the potential of this uniquely Australian, fine yet strong leather.
The preservation of our beautiful earth and minimisation of waste is what initially inspired the smaller items in my leather craft range.
To be able to use as much of my materials as possible has become a rewarding challenge as a designer... finding new ways to utilise this resource while showcasing it's characteristics is how a lot of my small items in my collection were born.
Do you wholesale?
Some of the makers & designers we sell on behalf of do offer, but for things made in house, at this stage we do not.
We are not a factory even though we manufacture in house, the focus of the atelier is small batches of quality crafted products made to suit the buyer, so there are often adjustments made upon consultation.
Do you ship overseas?
With the demands of our bricks and mortar store, bespoke orders created in house and the launch of this online, online sales are currently limited to shipping within Australia.

Pick up in store available during retail trading hours or by appointment outside of trading hours if need be.

A lot of pride goes into works we create, we only sell items we believe are worth selling.
However, we are human, if there is a fault in your purchase, please contact us via firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss your concerns, so we can address & amend the issue.
Returns will need to be made before the end of the calendar month (of purchase).
Returned items must be in its original condition, without being used, price of the item will be refunded only or exchanged for another item.
Shipping charges will not be refunded.
